Porsche Upholstery Repair in Dubai
Cracked bolsters, torn leather, open stitching, faded colour and a sagging headliner can make an otherwise excellent Porsche feel neglected. We repair the damaged area, retrim individual panels or restore a complete interior, aiming for an even colour, clean stitching and a finish that looks close to new again.

Seat movement and daily entry keep pulling at worn leather and loose stitching. A surface crack can split, an open seam can lengthen, exposed foam can lose shape, and a sagging headliner can continue across the roof. Repairing the first damaged area usually preserves more of the original interior and costs less than retrimming a larger section later.
Local leather restoration starts from AED 400.Choose the right level of work
Repair, retrim or replace?
Most customers do not need a complete new interior. We first look at the damaged panel, the surrounding material and the finish you want. The right choice can preserve more original trim and avoid paying for areas that are still in good condition.
Best for scratches, colour wear, surface cracking, a small tear or a limited damaged area where the underlying material can still be restored. The area is cleaned, prepared, repaired and colour-matched. This is normally the lowest-cost route and keeps the largest amount of original upholstery.
Best when a seat bolster, cushion panel, centre insert, armrest or door-panel section is too worn for a surface repair. We replace the affected material and match colour, grain, perforation and stitching as closely as the available materials allow. The rest of the seat can remain untouched.
Suitable when several panels have failed, the leather has become brittle across a large area, a previous repair is visibly mismatched or the customer wants a coordinated material or colour change. The scope can cover one seat, both front seats or the complete cabin.
Used when the problem is not merely upholstery, for example, a damaged trim carrier, broken seat component, failed switch surround or another structural piece. Upholstery work does not repair an unsafe seat frame or restraint component, so mechanical or electrical faults are identified separately.
Dubai upholstery estimates
Porsche interior repair prices
These September 2026 estimates show common starting ranges for Porsche interior work in Dubai. Your written quotation confirms the damaged area, material, colour treatment, stitching, removal/refitting and applicable VAT treatment.
| Upholstery work | Estimated price | Typical scope |
|---|---|---|
| Local leather recolouring Scuff, fade or small surface area | AED 400–800 | Cleaning, preparation, local colour matching and finish application. Deep tears or brittle leather need a different scope. |
| Seat bolster repair Cracking, abrasion or limited tear | AED 650–1,300 | Repair and recolour where suitable; panel material replacement is priced separately when the original surface cannot be retained. |
| Seam and stitching repair Open seam or damaged thread | AED 450–1,000 | Access, restitching and local finishing. Airbag seams and damaged underlying material require additional assessment. |
| Individual leather panel retrim Bolster, cushion, insert or armrest panel | AED 900–1,800 | Material supply, cutting, stitching and panel installation, depending on shape, perforation, piping and colour. |
| Genuine-leather seat retrim One complete seat | AED 1,800–4,500 | Front or rear seat complexity, leather grade, perforation, foam work, embroidery and stitching pattern change the figure. |
| Steering-wheel leather restoration Recolour, repair or retrim | AED 600–1,900 | Surface restoration is lower; complete removal, leather replacement and hand stitching are higher. |
| Headliner repair or retrim Sagging or stained roof lining | AED 1,200–3,000 | Roof size, sunroof openings, material choice, pillar work and removal/refitting affect the total. |
| Door panel or armrest restoration Peeling, wear or damaged covering | AED 500–1,500 | Local repair versus complete covering, panel shape, adhesive failure and material selection. |

Interior areas we restore
Repair the part you see
Tell us exactly which surface bothers you. A driver’s bolster needs a different repair from a sagging roof lining or peeling door insert. We quote the affected component instead of treating every interior problem as a complete retrim.
Surface cracks, colour loss, scratches, punctures, tears and worn perforated sections can be repaired or retrimmed according to their condition.
This high-contact edge often wears first as the driver enters and exits. Early recolouring or repair may preserve the original panel before the leather splits.
Collapsed or uneven foam can make a clean cover look tired and feel uncomfortable. Foam correction is assessed separately from the visible leather work.
Open seams, loose thread and damaged piping can be restitched when access and material condition allow. Special seams require the correct construction rather than cosmetic glue.
Peeling covering, lifting inserts, worn pull handles and armrest abrasion can be locally repaired or recovered with a matched material.
Shiny, rough, faded or cracked leather can be restored or completely retrimmed, with attention to grip, seam position and hand feel.
Sagging fabric, failed adhesive and stained roof lining may require removal and retrimming. Sunroof and pillar complexity are included in the quotation.
Scratched, faded, lifting or damaged covered surfaces can be assessed for local repair, recolouring or replacement of the covering material.
Burns, stains, wear and damaged edging may be repaired locally or replaced when cleaning alone cannot restore the appearance.
Repair it before it spreads
Small damage becomes expensive
A surface scuff may need only local restoration. Once the coating wears through, a crack opens or a seam separates, repeated movement can enlarge the damaged area and expose the backing or foam. Early repair can preserve more original material and reduce the amount that must be retrimmed.
Loss of the protective surface leaves the high-contact area more vulnerable to drying, abrasion and cracking. Repairing the finish early is usually simpler than replacing the entire bolster panel.
Continued entry, exit and seat movement can pull an open seam farther apart. Restitching becomes more involved when the leather edge tears or the foam becomes exposed.
Adhesive failure normally spreads. A small loose area can extend across the roof and obstruct rear visibility if the material hangs low enough.
Worn driver’s touchpoints are among the first things a buyer sees. Restoring visibly damaged leather and stitching can improve the cabin’s presentation before photographs, inspection or sale.
The difference is in the match
Colour, grain and stitching
A repair should not look like an unrelated patch. We assess the surrounding colour, gloss level, leather texture, perforation, piping and seam pattern before deciding whether the original surface can be repaired or a matching panel should be retrimmed.
Leather changes with age, cleaning and sunlight. Matching only a factory colour name may still leave a visible difference, so the current surrounding tone is considered.
Ventilated seat centres, smooth bolsters, embossed grain and Alcantara-style inserts have different visual and tactile characteristics. The replacement material must suit the panel’s job.
Thread colour, stitch spacing, seam position, piping and panel tension affect whether a retrim looks integrated with the rest of the seat.
Choose a restrained match to the existing specification or request a coordinated change in leather, insert material, contrast stitching or perforation. We quote the selected direction before cutting material.

Common Porsche interior wear
Different cabins, different repairs
The model helps us understand the likely panel layout, but photographs determine the work. Seats, materials and optional interiors vary within the same model and year.
Bolsters and driver’s touchpoints
Low seating and repeated entry can wear the outer driver’s bolster. Seat-centre perforation, contrast stitching, steering-wheel leather and rear trim require separate matching.
Sports-seat and roof-area wear
Bolster abrasion is common on low sports seats. Boxster work may also involve trim close to the roof mechanism. The dedicated Boxster leather-seat repair page covers that model-specific service.
Family-use seats and door trim
Front bolsters, rear-seat marks, armrests, door inserts and headliners may show mixed wear. We can repair the visibly damaged areas or plan a coordinated cabin refresh.
Daily-use leather restoration
Driver’s seat colour loss, piping wear, steering-wheel shine and door-armrest abrasion can often be treated without retrimming every seat.
Multi-panel premium interiors
Complex seats, rear comfort areas, consoles and door panels require careful colour and grain continuity. Tell us which seating package and options are fitted where known.
Material identification first
Taycan cabins may combine leather, synthetic materials, textile surfaces and special trims. We identify the material before selecting cleaners, colour products or replacement coverings.
From photograph to finished cabin
How restoration works
The process changes with the material and damage. A colour repair is not performed like a panel retrim, and a headliner requires different removal and adhesive work from a seat bolster.
Share the Porsche model and year, one wide photograph, close-ups of every damaged area and the result you want. Mention previous repairs, unusual odour, moisture or a seat warning light.
We explain whether cleaning, local restoration, stitching, foam work, panel retrimming or full replacement is suitable. If photographs cannot show the material condition, we arrange an inspection.
The quotation identifies the area, selected material, colour direction, stitching, removal/refitting and expected scope. You approve the work before the material is cut or the component is dismantled.
The component is cleaned and prepared. Damaged surfaces are stabilised, seams are opened and restitched where required, or the selected panel is patterned, cut and retrimmed.
Colour, grain direction, perforation, seam alignment, panel tension and edge finishing are checked against the adjacent upholstery. Related trim is protected during refitting.
The repaired surface, stitching, fit and visible transitions are reviewed. Any remaining age difference or limitation that was agreed before the job remains clear rather than being hidden after completion.

Porsche upholstery questions
Send photographs for an initial direction. The final repair route depends on the material’s condition, previous work and how closely the result must match the surrounding interior.
How much does Porsche upholstery repair cost in Dubai?
Local leather recolouring commonly estimates at AED 400–800, a seat-bolster repair at AED 650–1,300 and an individual leather-panel retrim at AED 900–1,800. A complete genuine-leather seat retrim may estimate at AED 1,800–4,500, while a multi-seat or full-cabin project can cost AED 8,000–20,000 or more. Material, damage, colour, perforation, stitching and removal work determine the quotation.
Can cracked Porsche leather be repaired?
Surface wear, fading and limited cracking may be repaired when the leather remains stable enough to accept restoration. Deep splits, brittle leather, missing material or damage through the backing may require the affected panel to be retrimmed. A photograph helps establish the likely route, but hands-on inspection may still be needed.
Can you make worn seats look new again?
We aim to restore an even colour, clean surface, correct panel tension and integrated stitching so the repaired area looks close to the surrounding interior. The result depends on the original material’s age, damage depth, prior repairs and availability of a suitable grain, perforation and colour match. Severely aged interiors may need coordinated retrimming for the most even result.
Is repairing one panel better than retrimming the whole seat?
Often, yes. If the remaining panels are strong and the required material can be matched, replacing only the damaged bolster, cushion or insert preserves more original trim and reduces cost. A complete seat retrim is more suitable when multiple panels are brittle, mismatched or extensively damaged.
Can you match the original Porsche leather colour?
We compare the existing cabin colour rather than relying only on a colour name because leather changes with age, sunlight and cleaning. The surrounding gloss, grain, perforation, piping and stitching are also considered. The quotation can identify any limitation before work starts.
Do you repair Alcantara and perforated leather?
We assess Alcantara-style inserts, suede-like materials and perforated leather for cleaning, repair or panel replacement. The correct route depends on contamination, wear, stretching, holes and material availability. Ventilated-seat perforation and bonded layers require appropriate replacement material and construction.
Can a sagging Porsche headliner be repaired?
A sagging headliner normally results from failing foam or adhesive and often requires removal and retrimming rather than injecting glue into one loose area. Roof dimensions, sunroof openings, pillars, material and removal/refitting determine the price and time required.
How long does upholstery repair take?
A small local repair may be completed faster than a seat-panel retrim, steering-wheel retrim or full headliner. Material sourcing, colour preparation, dismantling, curing and the number of panels all affect duration. We provide the expected workshop time with the vehicle-specific quotation rather than applying one duration to every job.
Can you change the interior colour or stitching?
Yes, custom leather colours, insert materials, perforation and contrast stitching can be considered when compatible materials are available. A partial colour change must be planned carefully because untouched seats, door panels, dashboard surfaces and carpets may otherwise make the new section look disconnected.
Can you collect my Porsche for upholstery repair?
Free pickup and delivery is available for relevant workshop bookings. Send photographs first, then share the vehicle location and preferred timing. Collection is arranged with the workshop and is not an instant collection promise.
