Oil, filter and final level

The value is in a correctly completed service, including the small parts and final checks that are easy to omit from a price comparison.

The complete oil service

Put the correct specification in writing

Your quotation should identify the engine oil and required approval, the filter, sealing items and fitting. A low headline price can mean a different quantity or an incomplete job. We confirm the total for your engine before you approve.

We use the applicable Porsche oil approval for the engine and operating requirements. The brand and viscosity are useful details, but neither alone proves that an oil is suitable. If you have a preferred oil, we check its exact approval before agreeing to use it.

01

Drain and replace

Used oil is removed using the appropriate service procedure. The correct filter and required sealing items are renewed without automatically replacing serviceable housings.

02

Fill to the engine requirement

The specified oil is added in the required quantity, with the level established using the procedure for your vehicle. More oil is not a better service.

03

Check and record

We check the serviced area, verify the final level as required and complete the relevant service reset. The invoice records the oil, parts and completed work.

An oil approval is more than a viscosity

A label such as 0W-40 or 5W-30 describes viscosity characteristics. Porsche approval is a separate requirement, and the correct approval can vary with the engine, year and emissions equipment. We identify the engine before selecting the oil instead of using one product across every model.

Mobil 1 is Porsche’s long-standing factory-fill partner, but that does not make every Mobil 1 product suitable for every Porsche. The exact product approval matters. Other oils must also meet the applicable requirement rather than simply being described as fully synthetic.

We can explain the available approved product and its contribution to the final price. If an alternative is proposed because a preferred product is unavailable, the replacement still needs the required approval. The oil used is recorded so future top-ups and services can be considered consistently.

The filling quantity also changes between engines. A quote based on an arbitrary number of liters can understate the completed price. We confirm the quantity for your car and check the final level using the relevant measurement conditions.

Service reminder, oil level or oil pressure?

Tell us the exact dashboard message when you contact us. Similar-looking oil concerns can require very different work.

Service due

Book scheduled maintenance

A due-service message should be checked against the maintenance history and the vehicle schedule. An oil-and-filter service may be the required visit, or additional items may also be due.

We explain the due work and complete the relevant reset after it is carried out. Clearing a reminder does not perform the service.

Oil level

Check the loss or measurement

A low-level message can require an appropriate top-up, but repeated loss needs an assessment. An external leak, consumption concern or a level-sensing fault is a separate issue from routine oil replacement.

Follow the vehicle instructions and contact us if you are unsure. Do not keep adding oil without checking the specified procedure and quantity.

Oil pressure / stop warning

Stop safely and arrange help

A pressure warning or an instruction to stop can indicate a serious problem. Stop safely and seek assistance instead of continuing to an ordinary service booking.

An oil change is not a promised repair for a pressure fault, mechanical noise or damage caused by insufficient lubrication.

What is included, and what is separate?

Compare the oil, quantity, filter and completed labor on both quotations. Our Porsche service price guide helps distinguish a minor service from interval and major maintenance.

Included in the agreed oil service

The specified engine oil, correct filter, required service sealing items and labor belong in the completed price. The relevant level check, inspection of the serviced area and service reset are included where applicable. The quote confirms the routine checks being carried out.

Additional scheduled maintenance

Air and cabin filters, spark plugs, brake fluid and transmission service can fall due at different intervals. They are identified and priced separately unless the selected service package expressly includes them. An oil service does not mean every maintenance item has been renewed.

Fault diagnosis and repairs

Leaking housings, damaged drain threads, oil-pressure concerns, excessive consumption and other faults need their own assessment. We explain the finding and additional cost before proceeding. A damaged component is not silently added to the original service bill.

Flushes and additives

An engine flush or additive is not automatically included or recommended for every oil change. We consider the vehicle requirements, condition and reason for any additional treatment. Routine servicing does not need an unsupported promise that a flush will cure an engine fault.

Oil service for classic and modern Porsches

An older Porsche needs an oil choice matched to its actual engine and service requirements. The correct filter, seals, quantity and measurement procedure can differ from a modern turbocharged model. We confirm those details instead of assuming a classic car takes the same kit as the newest range.

For cars with uncertain history, the first visit can establish what has been completed and what is due. Tell us about long storage, low annual mileage or previous oil consumption. Calendar time still matters when the car covers few kilometers.

Engine-swapped or modified cars need the fitted engine identified. Share any available records when parts are being confirmed, but you do not need to diagnose the car or find a part number just to book.

Porsche hybrids still have a combustion engine that requires its specified oil maintenance. Fully electric models, including the Taycan and electric Macan, do not need a combustion-engine oil change. Any drive-unit fluid or cooling work is a different service with its own requirements.

Access, seals and a clean finish

The engine location and underbody protection affect how the oil filter and draining points are reached. We use the access procedure for the model and inspect the relevant service components as the job is completed. A mid- or rear-engine car should not be treated as though it has a generic front-engine layout.

Required sealing rings or washers are renewed according to the fitted filter and drain arrangement. A new filter should not be fitted with a damaged cap or housing left unexplained. If the threads, sealing surface or another part needs repair, we show why and agree the additional work.

After filling, we check the serviced area and establish the oil level under the correct conditions. Some cars use electronic measurement; others have different requirements. A dashboard reading taken under the wrong conditions is not a sound basis for adding more oil.

If fresh oil appears after a service, contact the workshop. Residue and an active leak need to be distinguished through inspection rather than assumed from appearance alone. Our Porsche oil-leak repair service covers a confirmed sealing fault that requires work beyond routine maintenance.

When should you change the oil?

Use the maintenance schedule for the exact model and engine, with the time and mileage limits considered together. We review the service record and discuss how the car is used before recommending the next visit. One blanket interval is not reliable across classic engines, modern road cars and performance variants.

Frequent short trips, demanding use or track driving may justify a different maintenance discussion. Dubai conditions are a reason to review the applicable schedule and actual use, not to invent a universal early-change requirement for every owner.

Dark oil alone does not establish that it has failed. Oil can change appearance in normal service, while other problems may need attention before a routine interval is reached. A warning, sudden consumption change, visible leak or abnormal noise should be described separately when booking.

Keep the invoice showing the date, mileage, oil specification and parts used. It makes the next service easier to plan and gives a clearer history than a reset display with no record of what was actually done.

Book an oil change without extra work to arrange

Call or WhatsApp with your model and the service you need. We confirm the engine details, suitable oil and likely total, then arrange a time. A straightforward oil-and-filter visit may be completed the same day when the correct parts and workshop capacity are available; we confirm timing with the booking.

Free pickup and delivery, a free initial health check and a wash and vacuum after service are available. Mention any warning or leak before collection so the transport plan suits the condition of the car. Additional investigation or repairs are explained and approved separately.

We provide a written record of the completed work and explain any separate recommendation. The workshop’s 12-month repair warranty applies to relevant repairs under its policy; a routine oil service is not a guarantee against unrelated future engine faults.

For a model-specific starting point, see 911 oil change, Cayman oil change or Cayenne oil change. You can also book here and let us identify the correct requirements.

Questions before you book

How much does a Porsche oil change cost in Dubai?

Oil-and-filter minor-service estimates start at AED 840 for selected petrol Macan models, including 5% VAT. The table gives model ranges. Engine approval, oil quantity, filter and any additional due items determine the final quotation.

Which oil will you use in my Porsche?

We select a product carrying the applicable Porsche approval for the identified engine. Brand and viscosity alone do not establish suitability. The quotation and invoice can confirm the exact oil used.

Is the oil filter included?

Yes, the agreed oil-and-filter service includes the correct filter and required service sealing items. A damaged cap, housing or drain connection is explained and quoted separately if repair is needed.

Will an oil change fix engine noise or a pressure warning?

Not necessarily. Abnormal noise, pressure warnings or an instruction to stop need assessment. Stop safely and seek help if the car warns you to stop; do not rely on an ordinary oil-change appointment to resolve the fault.

Should I change the oil if I drive very little?

The applicable schedule includes time as well as mileage. We review the model requirements, service date and use. Low annual mileage does not remove the need for scheduled oil maintenance.

Do a Taycan and electric Macan need engine oil changes?

No. Fully electric models do not have a combustion-engine oil system. Drive-unit fluids, cooling circuits and other maintenance are separate jobs. A hybrid model’s combustion engine still needs its specified oil service.

Can you collect the car and return it after service?

Yes, free pickup and delivery can be arranged. Tell us about any warning, leak or running concern before collection so we can discuss suitable transport and the correct appointment.
