Classic or unusual applicationQuote for your carAir-cooled 911s, modified engines or work outside the standard package require an individual oil, filter and labour quotation.

Choose one service; do not add these rows together. Air and cabin filters, spark plugs, brake fluid, PDK or gearbox oil, engine flushing, leak repairs and extended fault testing are excluded unless listed in your quotation. Damaged drain threads or housings also require separate approval.

What changes the price?

The exact engine, oil approval, number of litres, filter choice and service access matter. Tell us about a Turbo, GT3, GT3 RS, T-Hybrid or modified car so it is priced for its actual requirements.

How long does it take?

Allow around 2–4 workshop hours for a straightforward booked oil-and-filter service. This is an estimate, not a collection guarantee; parts availability, cooling time, faults and additional due work can extend the visit.

Send the model year, variant and mileage. We confirm the included work and total before you approve it. For a larger scheduled visit, compare our Porsche service packages.

The right oil, not just a brand

Approval comes before viscosity

“Fully synthetic” or “0W-40” alone does not identify the right oil. We match the Porsche approval, viscosity and refill quantity to the engine and its current service requirements.

A40, C40 and C40 GT are different approvals. Some products carry both A40 and C40, but that does not make them suitable for a GT engine requiring C40 GT. A premium bottle with the wrong approval is still the wrong choice.

For example, Mobil’s current guidance specifies C40 GT for 991-and-newer GT3 and GT3 RS models. We check the actual application rather than applying that oil to every Turbo or every car carrying a GT badge.

Ask us to identify the oil product, approval and filter on your quotation. You can then compare like-for-like prices and keep a useful service record.

Classic, Carrera, Turbo and GT

Match the service to your 911

The rear-engine flat-six layout spans several different lubrication systems. A model year and variant are a better starting point than a blanket “911 oil change” package.

996 and 997: identify the fitted engine and check the service history. An earlier Carrera, a Turbo and a GT car can need different oil quantities, filters and drain procedures. Age-related seepage is quoted separately from routine servicing.

991 and 992: confirm the precise generation, engine and required oil approval, including emissions equipment where applicable. Electronic level measurement and the relevant service indication form part of completing the job.

Air-cooled 911, 964 and 993: use the appropriate classic-engine recommendation and dry-sump service procedure. Porsche’s Classic guidance distinguishes early engines up to 2.7 litres from later air-cooled engines of 3.0 litres and above; modern-car oil advice cannot simply be transferred.

For Carrera, S, 4, 4S, T and GTS-specific booking details, see our Carrera oil and filter service. Mention track use, an engine rebuild or modifications when enquiring.

A complete oil-and-filter visit

Fresh oil, checked properly

The service finishes with the correct level and a clear record of the work, not simply an empty oil container.

  • Drain, filter and refill

We follow the engine’s oil-service procedure, replace the matching filter and required sealing items, then refill with the agreed oil. Additional drain points or tank arrangements are handled for the fitted engine.

  • Verify the level

Electronic readings or a dipstick are used as applicable, under the vehicle’s specified measuring conditions. The service-fill quantity and the final level both matter.

  • Check and record

The accessible filter, drain points and surrounding area are checked for fresh oil. The relevant reminder is reset and completed work is kept separate from future maintenance recommendations.

Free pickup and delivery, an initial health check and a complimentary wash and interior vacuum help make the visit easier. Ask for the planned collection time when booking.

Mileage and time both count

When should you book?

Follow the schedule for your model, model year and market, together with the car’s service display. Low annual mileage does not remove the time-based oil-change requirement.

As one example, Porsche’s B-market oil-maintenance sheet for the 991 from model year 2017 specifies a maximum of 15,000 km or one year. That is not a universal interval for every 911. We check the applicable schedule for your car.

Bring the last invoice if available. It helps identify what is already done and whether a wider service is due. Track use, repeated short journeys or long storage should be discussed when choosing the next interval.

A warning changes the next step

  • Oil-service reminder

Arrange the due service. Oil colour alone is not a reliable way to decide the interval.

  • Repeated low level or fresh drips

Tell us about top-ups, smells or new spots. A change of oil will not repair a leak; we can assess oil leaks separately.

  • Oil-pressure warning

Stop safely, switch off the engine and call for assistance. Do not keep driving to reach an oil-change appointment.

How much does a Porsche 911 oil change cost?

Budget AED 850–1,500 including 5% VAT for the routine oil-and-filter work described above. This is a planning estimate, not a fixed offer for every 911. A broader Carrera minor service is estimated at AED 1,260–1,785; Turbo and GT minor-service estimates are AED 1,575–2,205. The written quote identifies the oil, quantity, filter, labour and agreed checks.

How many litres of oil does my 911 need?

There is no single refill quantity for every 911. Engine version, lubrication system and the prescribed oil-change procedure determine the service fill. We check the exact application and verify the final level; a dry engine’s total capacity is not automatically its oil-change quantity.

Do you use genuine Porsche filters?

We can quote a genuine Porsche filter or a suitable filter from an identified manufacturer for your engine. The quotation should name the part supplied. A supplier-branded filter is not automatically a Porsche-boxed part, even when the supplier also makes original-equipment components.

Is an engine flush included?

No. A routine oil service includes draining and refilling with the specified oil and replacing the filter. Chemical flushing, additives and internal cleaning are separate decisions. Tell us about contamination, sludge or an uncertain service history before adding any treatment.

Can I bring my own oil and filter?

Ask before the appointment. We need to check the oil approval, quantity, filter fitment and condition, then agree the labour price and any applicable warranty terms. A labour-only quotation should not be compared with a supplied-and-fitted package.

Will you reset the oil-service reminder?

The applicable oil-maintenance reminder is reset after the agreed service is completed. Separate due items, such as brake fluid or a scheduled inspection, still need attention. We record the completed work rather than treating a reset as proof that every maintenance item has been done.

Do you offer pickup for a 911 oil change?

Yes. Free pickup and delivery can be arranged in Dubai, subject to scheduling and the car’s condition. Send your area and preferred day with the enquiry. If there is an oil-pressure warning or the car cannot be driven safely, tell us before collection is arranged.

Will an independent oil service affect my existing warranty?

If your 911 has a manufacturer, extended or third-party warranty, check that provider’s servicing requirements before booking. We are an independent workshop, not an authorised Porsche dealer, and cannot promise another provider’s coverage. Keep the invoice showing the oil, filter, date and mileage.
