Porsche Inspection in Dubai
Porsche pre-purchase inspection in Dubai helps you understand a used car’s mechanical, electrical, body and underbody condition before you commit. At AMF Auto Services LLC in Al Quoz 4, we also offer owner condition checks for Porsches you already own, with the inspection limits and any specialist tests agreed before the appointment.
Standard pre-purchase inspection: AED 525–945 including VAT. Guide price, with the checks and final total agreed before booking.

Porsche inspection prices
Compare the paid purchase assessment with our free initial check for repair enquiries. A fault scan alone does not replace a full vehicle inspection.
Pre-purchase inspection
AED 525–945
Estimated total including 5% VAT for a standard workshop inspection. Covers the agreed mechanical, electrical and condition checks, plus an explanation of the findings.
- Accessible engine, gearbox, chassis and body checks.
- Diagnostic information reviewed alongside physical condition.
- Road test where safe, permitted and included in your quotation.
Planning estimate from our published service price guide, not a confirmed fixed workshop price.
Initial repair check
Free
Our initial visual or computer check helps establish the next step for a repair enquiry. Tell us about a warning, noise, leak or change in how the car drives.
- A confirmed workshop offer for the initial check.
- Broader owner condition inspections quoted individually.
- Extended fault tracing or specialist tests priced before proceeding.
The free check is separate from a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection and does not include repairs.
What changes the total?
Model, age, modifications, access and the depth of testing matter. Borescope, compression or leak-down tests, dismantling, detailed paint measurements and high-voltage battery assessment are separate unless expressly included. Parts, repairs, official history reports and registration testing are excluded.
How much time should I allow?
Allow around 1.5–3 hours as a planning guide for a standard inspection. Additional tests, a cold-start assessment or restricted seller access can extend the visit. We confirm the appointment and expected completion time before you bring the car.
How a Porsche inspection can be planned
These are estimated inspection scenarios, not completed customer jobs. A standard workshop pre-purchase inspection is estimated at AED 525–945 including 5% VAT; specialist tests are quoted separately when requested or justified.
2018 Macan pre-purchase inspection
Buyer concern: service history, brake wear, suspension condition and driveline behaviour before purchase.
AED 525–945
- Checks: agreed mechanical, electrical, underbody, body and road-test items where safe and permitted.
- Separate if requested: dismantling, specialist battery testing or extended fault tracing.
2016 911 inspection with specialist engine check
Buyer concern: cold-start noise or cylinder condition in addition to the standard purchase assessment.
AED 525–945 + specialist test quote
- Base inspection: standard workshop condition assessment and findings review.
- Separate: borescope, compression or leak-down testing only when agreed and available for the exact engine.
2022 Taycan pre-purchase inspection
Buyer concern: vehicle condition, brakes, tyres, charging-related warnings and visible high-voltage-system concerns.
AED 525–945
- Checks: agreed standard condition and diagnostic review for the vehicle.
- Separate: measured traction-battery capacity or specialist high-voltage certification if required.
The seller’s permission, vehicle access, cold-start availability and requested report format can affect what can be completed at the appointment.
What your Porsche inspection covers
We agree the checklist for your model, equipment and reason for inspection. Ask us to include any concern you noticed during a viewing or test drive.
- Engine and cooling: starting, running, visible oil or coolant leaks, hoses and accessible cooling components.
- Transmission and driveline: PDK, Tiptronic or manual operation as fitted, visible leaks, engagement and vibration.
- Brakes, tyres and steering: accessible brake wear, tyre condition and wear patterns, steering play and handling concerns.
- Suspension and underbody: bushes, joints, dampers, visible damage and ride height, including air suspension where fitted.
- Electrical and cabin functions: warning messages, accessible fault codes, lights, windows, air conditioning and relevant controls.
- Body and interior: visible panel, paint, trim and upholstery condition, with inconsistencies highlighted for further attention.
A stored fault code is a starting point for checking a system. It does not, by itself, prove that a particular part needs replacing.

Know what the asking price leaves out
A good-looking Porsche can still need tyres, brakes, servicing or further investigation. Use the findings to judge the purchase price together with the work ahead.
- Deal with now
- Safety concerns and significant reliability issues to resolve before using or buying the car.
- Budget for next
- Maintenance and wear items that can be priced separately and considered in the seller discussion.
- Check further
- Uncertain findings or inaccessible areas that need another test before the likely repair cost is clear.
We explain the findings and inspection limits. Ask at booking for the report format and any photographs you need. A condition check describes what was observable at the appointment; it cannot guarantee future reliability or prove a complete accident-free history.
Agree specialist checks before booking
Send the year, mileage and advert or service history. The right extra test can be more useful than a longer generic checklist.
- 911, Cayman and Boxster
- Mention cold-start noise, oil use, previous engine work and manual or PDK gear changes. If you need cylinder bore inspection or DME over-rev data, ask us to confirm availability and a separate price for that exact generation. Include convertible roof operation where relevant.
- Cayenne, Macan and Panamera
- Highlight uneven ride height, suspension warnings, driveline vibration and any hesitation when selecting a gear. The engine and fitted suspension determine the checks.
- Taycan and E-Hybrid
- Discuss charging or battery concerns before booking. A general inspection is not a measured high-voltage battery-capacity report. Confirm specialist testing and access separately.
- Classics and modified cars
- Bring repair invoices and details of non-standard parts. Age, modifications and diagnostic access affect what can be assessed.

Dismantling and extended engine or cooling tests are additional work, agreed separately from a standard inspection.
A workshop you can speak to directly
PorscheGarage.ae is operated by AMF Auto Services LLC at Warehouse 39, Al Quoz 4, Dubai. We are an independent workshop, not an authorised Porsche dealer or Porsche Approved inspection centre.
- Workshop inspection by appointment; collection is only confirmed separately when available and appropriate for the vehicle.
- A clear quotation before additional tests or repairs.
- Findings explained so you can decide what happens next.
If you choose a repair after inspection, eligible original-part work may qualify under our published 12-month warranty terms. The inspection itself is a condition assessment, not a vehicle warranty.
Prepare the Porsche for a useful inspection
The quality of the result depends on access, vehicle condition and the information available on the day. Confirm these points with the seller before the appointment so important checks are not lost to time or restricted access.
Arrange the right access
Ask for both keys, permission to raise the car and permission for a road test where safe. If cold-start behaviour matters, request that the engine is not warmed before arrival. A warm engine can prevent a genuine cold-start observation, while a road test may not be possible if the vehicle is unsafe, unregistered or not insured for it.
Bring the available history
Share the advert, service book, invoices and any recent diagnostic or repair records. These help compare the seller’s description with the car and identify gaps worth discussing. Records are reviewed as supporting information; the workshop does not authenticate every document or replace an official vehicle-history service.
Name your decision points
Tell us what could change your buying decision: accident concerns, oil use, charging behaviour, roof operation, suspension warnings or an upcoming major service. This lets the appointment focus on the car, generation and equipment in front of us rather than relying on a generic checklist.

Porsche inspection questions
Is the free check the same as a pre-purchase inspection?
No. The free initial visual or computer check is for a repair enquiry. A standard pre-purchase inspection has a planning estimate of AED 525–945 including 5% VAT. Your quotation confirms the actual checks and total before booking.
Will I receive a report and repair costs?
We explain the findings, their priority and anything that needs more investigation. Confirm the written report format, photographs and delivery time when booking. Repairs are priced separately for the identified work; you do not have to approve them.
Can an inspection detect accident or flood damage?
Visible repairs, inconsistent panels, corrosion, water marks or unusual electrical findings can justify further investigation. A visual inspection cannot establish the complete history or rule out concealed damage. Bring available records and arrange any specialist body or history checks you need.
Is this the same as an RTA test or Porsche Approved inspection?
No. This is an independent workshop condition assessment. It does not issue an RTA registration test certificate or Porsche Approved certification. If you need either, arrange it through the relevant authorised provider.
Can the seller bring the car, or can you collect it?
The seller or owner can bring the Porsche to our Al Quoz 4 workshop by arrangement. If you need collection, ask separately and confirm permission, location, vehicle condition and availability before relying on it. A mobile inspection is not included unless specifically agreed.
Do you inspect a Porsche I already own?
Yes. An owner condition check can help after a period off the road, when history is incomplete or before planning maintenance. We agree the systems to check and price any work beyond the free initial repair check.
Can you guarantee the Porsche will have no faults later?
No inspection can guarantee future reliability or reveal every hidden or intermittent problem. We explain what was checked, what could not be accessed and whether more investigation is advisable before you decide.
What should I bring or send?
Send the model, year, mileage, vehicle location and reason for inspection. Bring the service history, repair invoices and available keys. For a purchase, share the advert and arrange seller permission. Tell us beforehand if a cold start, charging test or specific report is important to your decision.
