Porsche Computer Diagnostics
Find out why the warning keeps returning before paying for replacement parts. Start with a free initial fault check, then approve any deeper testing needed to identify the repair.

What does your Porsche need?
A warning light, intermittent fault or loss of power needs an explanation you can use. We connect the reported symptom with the scan results and the checks needed to decide what to repair. You can contact us with the problem in your own words.
A warning-light check
The free initial computer or fault check is the starting point. We review the complaint and accessible fault information, then explain whether a more detailed investigation is needed.
A fault that returns
Intermittent warnings, battery drain and network faults can need live-data recording or electrical measurements. We explain the proposed testing and its price before going further.
A repair decision
The aim is to identify the work your Porsche needs. You receive the findings, the recommended repair and a quote, rather than a parts order based on one stored code.
Computer diagnostic prices
Targeted and extended testing prices are estimates in AED. The free initial check is separate from chargeable investigation. Parts, repairs, programming and applicable VAT are identified in the written quote; no open-ended testing bill is assumed.
A code is a starting point
A fault code identifies what a control unit detected. It does not always identify a failed part. A sensor warning can relate to the sensor, its wiring, supply voltage or the condition it is measuring. Clearing the code alone can leave the cause unresolved.
Our diagnostic work uses Autel equipment, including the MaxiSys Ultra and MS919, alongside appropriate physical checks. The useful information is how the fault behaves, whether it is current or stored, and whether the measurements support the proposed repair.
Available functions depend on the vehicle and control unit. We check the required capability before quoting coding, adaptation or programming. An ordinary diagnostic visit is not a promise of every factory software function.

Checks matched to the problem
Engine and performance
For rough running, reduced power or an engine warning, we compare relevant readings with the symptoms. Ignition, fuel supply, air leaks, sensors and mechanical condition are considered where indicated. Engine repair is quoted separately when the findings establish what needs fixing.
Starting and charging
Low voltage can create several warnings at once. We consider the battery, charging supply and connections before treating every stored message as a separate component failure.
Brakes and chassis
ABS, stability-control or suspension warnings may require sensor, supply, communication or actuator checks. A scan does not replace inspection of worn brakes or damaged suspension parts.
Cabin electronics
For climate controls, windows, locks, parking aids or infotainment faults, testing follows the affected function. Water entry, wiring and power supply may matter as much as the control module itself.
See what the diagnosis found
We explain the relevant findings in plain language: what was reported, what was checked, what the results suggest and which next step is justified. If the fault has not occurred during testing, we say so and explain the options for monitoring it.
The quote separates diagnosis from repair, parts and any required setup. You can discuss repairing the existing component or replacing it where both are appropriate. Work outside the agreed investigation is explained before it starts.
After an approved repair, we check the affected function again and review relevant fault information. That final check concerns the work completed; it does not certify every system on the vehicle.

Workshop or mobile assessment?
Our Al Quoz 4 workshop is suitable for investigations that need lift access, controlled testing or more involved electrical work. A mobile visit can help with an initial assessment when the location and vehicle condition allow it. We confirm what can be checked there and whether workshop work is likely.
A car that will not start may have a battery, supply, immobiliser or other fault. Tell us what happens when you try to start it, if you know. You do not need to identify the failed part before requesting help. Free pickup and delivery can be arranged through the workshop; collection timing is confirmed when you contact us.
Modern systems and classic cars
A 911, Cayenne, Macan or Panamera can have different electronics across generations and specifications. Older Porsche models may need more direct electrical or mechanical testing because fewer systems provide modern scan information.
Hybrid and electric vehicles also require the correct repair approach. A low-voltage warning and a high-voltage fault are different investigations. We establish the required test procedure and equipment before proceeding.
For a used-car purchase, choose a broader Porsche inspection if you need the condition of the vehicle assessed. A computer scan alone cannot establish accident history, paint condition or the remaining life of every mechanical component.

Computer diagnostics questions
Is the Porsche diagnostic check free?
The initial computer or fault check is free. A targeted investigation, extended electrical testing, a mobile visit or programming can be chargeable. We explain that work and its price before you agree.
Can you diagnose a warning that disappears?
Often we can begin with stored fault information and the circumstances in which it occurs. Reproducing an intermittent fault may need more time or monitoring. A warning that is absent during the visit is not automatically resolved.
Can you reset the warning light?
We can clear relevant fault information where appropriate, but a reset does not repair the cause. We explain whether testing or repair is needed before treating the warning as resolved.
How long does diagnosis take?
An initial check is usually shorter than a targeted investigation. Intermittent faults and wiring problems can take longer. The workshop confirms the expected test time after reviewing your complaint and the required access.
What should I send to book?
Your Porsche model and a short description of the problem are enough to begin. A warning photo or the circumstances in which it appears can help, but technical records and a VIN can follow if needed.
