Porsche Cayenne Side Mirror Replacement Dubai
A damaged Cayenne mirror does not always need a complete assembly. We identify the glass, housing, folding mechanism, wiring, indicator and fitted driver-assistance features, then quote the smallest reliable repair.
VAT-inclusive fitted estimates start from AED 735 for mirror glass. Complete feature-matched assemblies typically cost AED 2,625–9,450 fitted.

Cayenne side mirror replacement cost
These are estimated fitted totals including 5% VAT. A clear photo helps us narrow the range, while the VIN and option match confirm the final part and price.
Mirror glass or cover
For suitable heated or feature-equipped glass, a painted cap, lower trim or indicator-related exterior part when the main housing and hinge remain sound.
Folding or wiring repair
For a repairable folding mechanism, hinge, connector or wiring fault. The exact option depends on whether the component is supplied separately for the fitted mirror.
Complete assembly fitted
Quality used or rebuilt assemblies normally sit lower. New genuine or OEM-equivalent units with dimming, memory, warning or camera equipment can sit higher.
What the estimate includes: the stated replacement part or repair, normal removal and fitting, feature and movement checks, necessary paintwork where the quote says so, and 5% VAT. A camera-equipped mirror receives the checks or setup applicable to the vehicle and repair.
What changes the price: Cayenne generation, left or right part number, heating, electric folding, memory, auto-dimming glass, puddle light, indicator, Lane Change Assist warning, Surround View camera, paint colour, connector type, door-mount damage and whether the part is new, rebuilt or quality used. The right side is not automatically more expensive; the exact equipment and availability matter.
Which mirror part needs attention?
An impact can damage one visible piece or several connected parts. We separate cosmetic damage from structural, electrical and camera-related faults before recommending a complete assembly.
- Mirror glass
- Cracked, missing, loose or discoloured glass may be replaceable on its own. The backing plate, heating contacts, dimming function and warning display must match the original equipment.
- Cap, lower trim or indicator
- A scraped painted cover, broken lower shell or failed indicator can often be handled without replacing a sound hinge and motor. Paint preparation and colour matching are included only when stated in the quote.
- Folding motor or hinge
- A mirror that clicks, stops part-way, sits loose or no longer folds may have a damaged gear, motor, hinge or stop. Repair depends on part availability and whether the main casting remains safe.
- Wiring and connector
- Intermittent movement, heating, indicator, warning light or camera operation can come from a damaged connector or wiring. The circuit is checked before a complete mirror is ordered.
- Complete mirror assembly
- A broken base, twisted housing, severe hinge damage or multiple failed functions can make full assembly replacement the reliable choice. The replacement must match every fitted feature.
- Door and mounting area
- A heavy impact can distort the door mount, trim or sheet metal. Mirror replacement alone will not correct a damaged mounting point, so any body repair is identified separately.
Feature matching matters
A Cayenne mirror is more than a painted shell. Two assemblies from the same model year can use different connectors, glass, electronics and cameras.
Comfort functions must match. Heated glass, electric adjustment, power folding, memory position, kerb-view behaviour and auto-dimming are not present on every version. If one is omitted from a replacement, the mirror may fit physically but lose an original function.
Lighting and warning equipment must match. Some mirrors contain a turn indicator, puddle light or visible warning for Lane Change Assist. Glass with a warning display is not interchangeable with plain glass simply because the outline looks similar.
Camera-equipped mirrors need special care. Surround View hardware can be built into the mirror assembly. The camera, bracket, wiring and image operation are checked after fitting. Calibration or setup is performed only when the fitted system and repair require it, not added as a blanket charge to every mirror job.
VIN and part-number confirmation reduces mistakes. We use the vehicle details, original mirror and installed options to check compatibility. This is especially important when considering a quality used assembly, where colour can be changed but missing electronics cannot be painted into the part.

Example Cayenne mirror quotations
These examples explain how the damaged part and fitted features affect cost. They are not customer histories, completed-job claims or fixed offers. Your written quote follows inspection and exact part confirmation.
2014 Cayenne S heated glass
Scenario: Broken left mirror glass while the adjustment, heating connection, housing and folding hinge remain intact.
Included: Correct feature-matched glass, fitting, heating and adjustment check, plus 5% VAT.
May change: Auto-dimming or warning-display glass, damaged backing plate or wiring.
2017 Cayenne GTS folding assembly
Scenario: Impact-damaged housing and hinge requiring a quality used or rebuilt feature-matched assembly.
Included: Heating, folding, dimming and Lane Change Assist compatibility, fitting, functional checks and 5% VAT.
May change: Part availability, paint condition, connector damage or door-mount repair.
2021 Cayenne Coupe camera mirror
Scenario: Complete current-generation mirror with indicator and Surround View camera after structural damage.
Included: Suitable new assembly, paint preparation, fitting, function checks, applicable camera setup and 5% VAT.
May change: Exact trim, camera version, door damage and genuine part availability.
The written quotation identifies the side, part condition, included features, paintwork, labour and VAT. If dismantling reveals door damage or wiring not visible in the photos, we explain the revised total before extra work continues.

Compatibility by Cayenne generation
The badge and paint colour are not enough to order a mirror. Production date, body style, market specification and option equipment can all change the part.
First-generation 955 and 957 Cayenne models can differ in glass shape, electrical functions, folding equipment and connector arrangement. Age also makes used-part condition important, especially at the hinge, motor and heating contacts.
Second-generation 958 or 92A models may combine heating, memory, auto-dimming, indicators and driver-assistance warnings. A Turbo, GTS, Diesel, S or E-Hybrid badge still does not replace a part-number check because options vary within the same version.
Current 9Y0 and 9YA Cayenne models can include more integrated lighting, assistance and camera functions. Standard SUV and Cayenne Coupe body styles must be checked against the exact production specification rather than treated as one interchangeable catalogue entry.
Left and right mirrors have separate parts. One side is not inherently more expensive in every case. Supply, feature content and condition explain most price differences. We quote the side the vehicle needs and do not recommend replacing the opposite mirror merely for appearance.
Send the model year, side and a photo showing the complete mirror. We request the VIN when needed to confirm the original equipment and compatible replacement before an assembly is ordered.
Choose the suitable mirror solution
The most economical option is the one that restores the required functions safely without paying for good components twice.
Component repair
Glass, a cover, indicator, lower trim, wiring or a separately available mechanism can be replaced when the base and main housing remain suitable. This keeps the original feature-equipped assembly and can shorten the job.
Quality used or rebuilt
A feature-matched used or rebuilt assembly can control cost on an older Cayenne. Condition, hinge play, connector integrity and function are considered before fitting. Paintwork is listed separately when the supplied colour differs.
New genuine or equivalent
A new genuine or appropriate OEM-equivalent part can suit newer, highly equipped or hard-to-match vehicles. The quotation names the proposed part source. You can also review our wider Porsche spare-parts service for other model-specific components.
We do not describe every aftermarket part as OEM. Genuine, OEM-equivalent, new alternative, rebuilt and quality used are different conditions and supply routes. The quote states which one is being offered, what functions it supports and whether paint is included.
Call before normal driving
A cracked lens with a clear, stable view may allow the vehicle to be moved carefully for inspection, but a missing mirror, hanging assembly, loose glass, sharp broken housing or exposed wiring can create additional risk. Do not tape over a camera or warning display and assume all functions remain available.
If the impact also damaged the door, window operation or mounting area, or if assistance and camera warnings appeared afterwards, arrange collection rather than testing the vehicle in traffic. A photo of the mirror from the front, rear and door side helps us advise the next step.
Booking and turnaround
- Send the vehicle details. Tell us the year, variant and damaged side. Include clear photos and say which functions still work, such as folding, heating, indicator, dimming, warning light and camera.
- Confirm the original equipment. We inspect the mirror and use the VIN or existing part number where required. This avoids ordering a similar-looking assembly with missing electronics.
- Review the written quote. The quotation states the proposed component or assembly, part condition, paintwork, labour, checks and 5% VAT. Separate door or wiring damage is made clear.
- Approve sourcing and repair. We order or prepare the agreed part after approval. If a painted cover is needed, the colour and finishing method are confirmed before fitting.
- Fit and test each function. Adjustment, folding, heating connection, lighting, dimming, warning display and camera are checked where fitted. Relevant fault information or setup is handled when applicable.
- Collect or arrange return. We show the repaired mirror, explain any remaining cosmetic or bodywork issue and return the vehicle by arrangement.
Glass, cover or a simple available component often needs around one to two workshop hours. A complete assembly can usually be fitted within one working day after the correct part is ready. Paint curing, special-order stock, wiring repair, door damage or camera-related setup can extend the visit. We give the practical timing with the quote.

Independent Cayenne mirror service
The workshop is at Warehouse 39, Al Quoz 4, Dubai. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. Sunday is closed.
Exact option check
The original mirror and vehicle specification are checked before an assembly is ordered. This protects folding, heating, memory, warning and camera functions that a basic visual match can miss.
Price before work
The quotation identifies parts, condition, paintwork, labour, functional checks and 5% VAT. If the door mount or wiring needs separate work, it is explained before additional repair begins.
Covered repair work
Eligible work can include a 12-month parts-and-labour warranty. The applicable coverage is confirmed with the repair and invoice.
Free pickup and delivery can be arranged, subject to location and scheduling. We are an independent Porsche service specialist and are not affiliated with Porsche AG or an authorised Porsche agency. The example quotations on this page are budgeting scenarios, not fabricated customer reviews.
Cayenne side mirror FAQs
How much is a Porsche Cayenne side mirror replacement in Dubai?
Mirror glass or a cover is estimated at AED 735–1,890 fitted. A folding or wiring repair is about AED 945–2,625, while a complete feature-matched assembly is typically AED 2,625–9,450 fitted. These estimates include 5% VAT. Generation, equipment, part condition, paint and door damage affect the final quote.
Can you replace only the Cayenne mirror glass?
Yes, when the housing, backing plate, adjustment mechanism and electrical connections remain suitable. The replacement glass must match heating, auto-dimming and any Lane Change Assist display fitted to the original mirror.
Why do you need the VIN for a side mirror?
The VIN helps confirm the original specification when several mirrors look alike. Folding, memory, dimming, heating, indicator, warning-display, camera and connector options can vary within the same model year, so appearance alone is not a reliable parts check.
Can I choose a used, rebuilt or new mirror assembly?
Available choices depend on the exact application. A quality used or rebuilt assembly can reduce cost if its features and condition are suitable. New genuine or OEM-equivalent units may be preferred for newer or highly equipped vehicles. The quote states the proposed condition and source.
How long does Cayenne side mirror replacement take?
Glass, a cover or a simple available component often takes around one to two workshop hours. A complete assembly can usually be fitted within one working day after the correct part is ready. Paint, special-order stock, wiring, door damage or camera setup can extend the visit.
Does every camera-equipped mirror need calibration?
No. The requirement depends on the fitted system, the part replaced and the repair procedure. We check camera operation and carry out applicable setup or calibration when required rather than adding it automatically to every mirror quotation.
Do I need to replace both side mirrors?
Normally no. A correctly matched replacement can be fitted to the damaged side only. The opposite mirror does not need replacement merely for appearance. If paint finish differs, colour matching is a more proportionate option than replacing a working assembly.
Is it safe to drive with a broken Cayenne side mirror?
Do not use the vehicle normally if the assembly is hanging, the glass is loose or missing, sharp material is exposed, wiring is damaged, visibility is seriously reduced or camera and assistance warnings appeared after impact. Call with photos so the workshop can advise whether collection is appropriate.
Can you collect and return my Cayenne?
Yes. Free pickup and delivery can be arranged, subject to location and scheduling. Tell us if the mirror is hanging, the door is damaged or glass and wiring are exposed so the vehicle can be moved appropriately.
