Front, rear or both?

Replace the worn components while keeping serviceable parts. An axle-by-axle assessment makes the cost and the reason for replacement clear.

01 / Front axle

Match both front wheels

We replace pads as a matched axle set, then inspect the discs, calipers and wear pattern on both sides. The front and rear can use different pad shapes, compounds and sensor arrangements.

Front-pad wear does not automatically mean the rear pads are due. Ask for the measured condition so you know why each axle is included.

02 / Rear axle

Check the fitted parking brake

Rear brake work follows the procedure for your model and equipment. Where an electronic parking-brake service procedure is required, it is included in the planned fitting work.

We identify whether a parking-brake complaint involves the service pads or a separate mechanism. A warning is checked before replacement is recommended.

One quote for the actual job

Tell us whether a warning appeared or which axle another workshop recommended. If you are unsure, start with the model and symptom. We confirm the brake option and parts before ordering, then give a price for one axle or both with every extra visible.

Choose pads for your brakes

Porsche Genuine parts and suitable supplier-branded alternatives can offer different purchase prices. The important comparison is the exact approved application, friction material, included sensors and completed fitting cost. A familiar brand name alone does not establish that a pad fits your brake option.

We explain the parts we can source for your model and the difference in price before you decide. A lower-cost pad should not be sold as identical to a Genuine part unless that exact equivalence is established. The selected brand and specification remain on the quotation.

Road comfort, dust, noise and repeated heavy braking matter differently to different owners. Tell us if the car is used on track or has a brake conversion. Track compounds can behave differently when cold and are not an automatic upgrade for everyday traffic.

“Ceramic pad” describes a friction-material category and does not mean the pad is suitable for Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake discs. PCCB, PSCB and conventional iron-disc brakes need their own fitment checks. Caliper color alone is insufficient after previous modifications.

Pads only or discs too?

You should not have to choose between unnecessary discs and a pad replacement that leaves the real problem untouched. The inspection establishes which repair the car needs.

Brake disc and caliper with the wheel removed

Pads only

Suitable when the discs remain within the applicable wear limits, their surfaces are serviceable and the calipers operate correctly. We check both sides of each disc and the inner and outer pads.

Pads and discs

Appropriate when measured wear, damage or another confirmed condition means the existing discs cannot remain. We explain the finding and quote a matched axle repair.

A different brake repair

A sticking caliper, damaged sensor lead, hydraulic leak or another fault needs its own correction. New pads alone do not fix every noise, warning, vibration or soft pedal.

What your replacement includes

The written quote confirms the axle, pad brand, parts, labor and any separately charged sensors or related repairs. It also confirms the expected workshop time.

Inspection and parts matching

We check the reported concern, pad wear and brake specification. The disc condition, visible hydraulic connections and relevant sensors are reviewed. Any further fault diagnosis is explained before it starts.

Careful removal and fitting

The old pads are removed and the contact points inspected. Suitable new pads, necessary wear sensors and agreed hardware are installed using the procedure for the fitted system.

Checks before collection

We check pedal operation, the relevant warnings and the completed work. A suitable functional check follows when the car is safe to test, with bedding-in advice matched to the installed parts.

Book before wear damages discs

Replacing pads at the right stage can avoid metal-to-metal contact that damages the disc surface. If a pad-wear message appears, arrange an assessment instead of waiting for grinding. The display is a prompt to inspect, not a precise promise of how many kilometers remain.

A high-pitched squeal can have several causes, including friction characteristics or surface conditions. Vibration also needs checking rather than an automatic pad order. Describe when the noise occurs, whether the car pulls and whether braking feels different.

If the pedal becomes soft or sinks, braking is noticeably reduced, fluid is leaking or the vehicle displays an instruction to stop, stop safely and arrange assistance. A routine pad appointment is not a reason to continue driving with impaired braking.

For hydraulic, ABS, caliper or broader braking faults, our Porsche brake service covers the additional investigation and repair. You can still contact this page first; we will help arrange the appropriate check.

Your Porsche changes the parts

We handle the technical identification. A VIN or a clear wheel photograph can help confirm parts later, but neither is required just to ask for an appointment.

911, Boxster and Cayman

Generation, engine version and installed brake option affect the pad set. A Carrera, GT model and ceramic-brake car cannot be quoted from one generic sports-car kit. Modified cars need the currently fitted hardware checked.

Cayenne, Macan and Panamera

Front and rear brake sizes vary with engine and equipment. We identify the actual system before ordering rather than assume every SUV or sedan uses the same pads. Share the model year if you know it.

Taycan and electric models

Regenerative braking does not remove the need to inspect the friction brakes. Condition, corrosion, wear and the installed system determine the work; combustion-engine service items do not belong in an electric-car brake quote.

Know what happens after fitting

New pads and discs need the bedding procedure specified for the installed parts. We explain the appropriate early use at collection. Avoid treating a generic internet braking routine as a substitute for the manufacturer’s instructions or attempting repeated heavy stops in traffic.

A fresh noise should be described rather than dismissed automatically as normal. Contact the workshop if a warning stays on, a new vibration appears, the car pulls or the pedal feels different. We can then inspect the relevant concern and distinguish bedding behavior from a fault.

Brake-pad life varies with the car, friction material, traffic, driving style and use. We do not promise a universal replacement interval or silent operation in every condition. Regular inspection gives a better basis for the next replacement than a single mileage figure.

Keep the invoice and the installed-parts details with your service history. It helps the next inspection identify the correct components and compare wear over time.

Arrange your brake-pad replacement

Get better prices by comparing the same axle, pad specification, sensors and fitting, with VAT included.

Call or WhatsApp with the Porsche model and what you have noticed. We can discuss parts choices and an initial estimate, then confirm availability and workshop time. A straightforward pad job may fit within a same-day visit when the required parts and capacity are available; disc, caliper or warning-related work can take longer.

Free pickup and delivery can make the visit easier. Tell us if the brakes are impaired so a suitable transport arrangement can be discussed. Do not assume a car with a serious braking concern can be driven for collection.

A 12-month repair warranty supports the relevant work under the workshop policy. Your quotation identifies the selected parts and completed job. You approve additional findings separately, so a pad replacement does not turn into a larger bill without a discussion.

Questions before you book

How much does Porsche brake-pad replacement cost?

Standard-brake estimates are AED 1,890–3,150 per axle for suitable supplier-branded pads and AED 2,625–4,725 for Porsche Genuine pads. These include fitting and 5% VAT. Sensors, additional hardware, discs and special brake systems are identified separately in the quotation.

Must I replace all four wheels together?

Not automatically. Pads are replaced as a matched axle set. We inspect front and rear wear and recommend both axles only when their condition justifies the work.

Do new pads always need new discs?

No. Disc measurements and condition determine whether they can remain. If wear, damage or another fault requires discs, we explain the finding and quote the complete axle repair before proceeding.

Can you replace PCCB or PSCB brake pads?

Contact us with the model and fitted brake option. We confirm the correct application, available parts and procedure before accepting the job. The standard iron-disc brake estimates do not apply to ceramic or surface-coated systems.

Will new pads fix a soft pedal?

A soft or sinking pedal needs assessment of the braking system. New friction pads alone do not correct hydraulic leaks or every pedal fault. If braking is impaired, stop safely and arrange assistance.

Can I book without knowing the pad part number?

Yes. Start with the model and a short description. We handle fitment checks and ask for the VIN or further details if needed before ordering.

How long does the work take?

A straightforward pad replacement may be completed during a same-day visit when parts and workshop capacity are available. Extra disc, caliper, parking-brake or diagnostic work changes the time. We confirm the expected stay when the job is agreed.
