Porsche Carrera Oil Change in Dubai
Protect your Porsche Carrera flat-six with the correct approved oil, a new filter and careful level checks at our Al Quoz 4, Dubai workshop. Oil-and-filter service is AED 1,260–1,785 including 5% VAT; your model and oil capacity determine the written quotation.

Carrera oil-change prices and inclusions
Carrera oil-and-filter service is AED 1,260–1,785 including 5% VAT. The exact amount depends on the model, engine, required oil quantity, filter and access procedure.
| Service | Price | Included |
|---|---|---|
| Carrera oil and filter change | AED 1,260–1,785 including VAT | Correctly specified engine oil and quantity as quoted, new oil filter and seal, normal drain/fill labour, electronic or dipstick level check as applicable, visual leak check and service-record update. |
| Additional fault testing | Quoted before work | Needed only when warning messages, low pressure, heavy leakage, contamination or abnormal engine noise requires diagnosis beyond the routine service. |
| Extra maintenance | Itemised separately | Air or cabin filters, spark plugs, brake fluid, drive belt, coolant work and scheduled inspection items are not automatically part of an oil change. |
What changes the final price?
Generation, exact engine, turbo or naturally aspirated specification, required oil approval and quantity, filter choice and access. A Carrera, Carrera S, 4, 4S, T and GTS can require different parts or capacities.
How long should you allow?
A routine booked oil and filter service is commonly completed within 2–4 workshop hours and normally the same working day. A hot engine may need safe cooling time, while leak investigation or ordered parts can extend collection.

What happens during a Carrera oil change
The service includes the correct lubricant and filter, safe draining of the old oil, an accurate final level check and inspection of accessible leak points.
- 01
Identify the exact car
Confirm year, generation, variant, fitted engine and service history. A VIN helps avoid assumptions when parts or engine history are unclear.
- 02
Drain and inspect
Protect the vehicle, remove the required access panels, drain the oil at a safe temperature and note unusual contamination or damaged hardware.
- 03
Renew filter and seals
Fit the compatible filter and normal sealing parts included in the quotation. Drain hardware is tightened to the correct vehicle-specific procedure.
- 04
Fill, run and verify
Add the selected oil in measured stages, complete the applicable warm-up and level-check procedure, inspect for fresh leakage and update the service record.
Use the approval specified for your Carrera
Viscosity alone is not a complete oil specification. The product must meet the approval and viscosity required for the exact model, engine and operating conditions.
Porsche oil requirements have changed across 996, 997, 991 and 992 generations. Engine design, emissions equipment and model year all matter. We identify the car first and state the selected oil on the written quotation.

Approval and viscosity
The Porsche approval and viscosity must suit the exact engine and model year. One grade should not be applied to every Carrera generation.
Quantity and final level
Capacity figures are a reference, not a blind refill amount. The final level follows the vehicle procedure after the oil reaches the required measurement conditions.
History and oil use
Recent invoices, top-up history, smoke, unusual noise or fresh oil spots help us understand consumption and identify concerns beyond routine servicing.
Want to supply your own oil?
Contact the workshop before buying it. We will confirm the required approval and sealed quantity, whether we can accept it, and how customer-supplied oil affects labour or warranty terms.
If other maintenance is due, see our Carrera service and repair options. Owners comparing requirements across the range can also use our Porsche oil-change guide.
Low oil level and low oil pressure are different
A level message may call for a measured top-up or leak check. A red pressure warning can mean the engine is no longer receiving safe lubrication.
Low oil level message
Park safely on level ground and follow the owner’s manual measurement procedure. Do not add a full bottle without knowing the required amount.
Repeated level loss needs a leak or consumption assessment.Red oil-pressure warning
Switch off safely and contact the workshop or roadside assistance. Do not continue driving or treat it as an ordinary top-up reminder.
Oil pressure and oil level are different conditions.Smoke, leaks or engine noise
Heavy smoke, metallic noise, coolant in the oil, rapid level loss or fresh oil reaching the exhaust needs separate assessment.
Tell us what appeared and when it began. When an oil change is not enough
An oil change cannot repair a leaking seal, failing oil pump, damaged bearing, air-oil separator problem or electrical sensor fault. Where the symptoms justify it, pressure testing, fault-code checks, leak tracing or further inspection may be needed.
Dark used oil alone does not diagnose engine damage. We separate routine maintenance from fault testing and quote additional work before it is added.
For a visible leak, tell us where the car was parked, how quickly the level changed and whether oil reached the exhaust. Photos help describe the problem, but a safe inspection establishes the source.
Stop for a red pressure warning
Switch off safely and arrange advice before running the engine again. Continuing to drive can turn a lubrication problem into severe engine damage.
Do not rely on a routine oil-change appointment when the car shows an instruction to stop, makes metallic noise or is losing oil rapidly. Tell us what happened so safe transport can be arranged.
When should Carrera engine oil be changed?
Use the interval and oil specification for your exact model year, market and service schedule. The car’s service display and owner documentation take priority over a generic web interval.
Scheduled road use
Book by the time or mileage limit shown for the vehicle, whichever comes first. Low annual mileage does not remove the time limit because oil also experiences moisture, fuel dilution and ageing.
Severe or unusual use
Repeated short trips, prolonged heat, dusty conditions, heavy idling and sustained high-load use can justify an earlier discussion. Base any shorter interval on the car’s actual use, condition and manufacturer guidance.
Track use or storage
Track-prepared cars and vehicles returning from long storage need an individual maintenance plan. Tell the workshop about fuel, modifications, previous oil and how the car is used.
Keep invoices showing the date, mileage, oil product, quantity and filter. A clear record helps future servicing and supports buyers better than an unsupported stamp or vague “full service” description.

Carrera oil-change questions
How much is a Porsche Carrera oil change in Dubai?
Carrera oil-and-filter service is AED 1,260–1,785 including 5% VAT. The exact total depends on the generation, engine, specified oil, required quantity, filter and any non-routine work. The written quotation confirms inclusions and exclusions before service.
Does the price include the oil filter and VAT?
The quoted routine oil-change package includes the identified engine oil, compatible new filter and normal sealing parts, labour and 5% VAT. Check the itemised quotation because additional repairs, diagnostic work and other scheduled filters or fluids are separate unless listed.
Which oil does a Carrera need?
There is no single answer for every Carrera. The correct Porsche approval, viscosity and quantity depend on model year, engine and market specification. We identify the vehicle first and state the selected product on the quotation. Viscosity alone is not enough.
Can you reset the oil-service reminder?
Where the vehicle supports it and the required oil service has been completed, the relevant service record or reminder can be updated as part of the quoted work. A reset does not replace other maintenance that is already due, and an unrelated warning is not cleared without diagnosis.
Can I bring my own engine oil?
Ask before the booking. The oil must be sealed, sufficient in quantity and carry the approval required for your exact car. Confirm workshop acceptance, labour price and any effect on parts or workmanship coverage before buying it.
Is an oil change enough for a major service?
No. An oil and filter change is one maintenance task. A scheduled inspection may also call for brake fluid, air or cabin filters, spark plugs, drive-belt checks and other age- or mileage-based work. We can itemise those services without quietly adding them to the oil-change price.
What should I do if the red oil-pressure warning appears?
Switch off safely and contact the workshop or roadside assistance. Do not continue driving or assume it only needs topping up. Oil pressure and oil level are different; the cause must be assessed before the engine is run further.
Do you service Carrera 4, 4S, T and GTS models?
Yes. Send the model year, variant and VIN if available so we can confirm the correct oil approval, quantity and filter for your Carrera.
Can the oil change be completed the same day?
A booked routine service is normally completed within the same working day, often in 2–4 workshop hours once the vehicle is ready. Parts availability, cooling time, warning-light diagnosis or leak repairs can extend that estimate; the workshop confirms collection timing.
