Panamera repair price guide
These are planning estimates for common Panamera work in Dubai. Every range includes 5% VAT and the labour described. Parts choice, model generation, engine, drivetrain and inspection findings determine the written total.
| Repair | Estimated cost | What the range covers |
|---|---|---|
| Electrical or sensor repair | AED 735–3,675 | Fault tracing plus a minor wiring, sensor or control-related repair. Major modules and programming are quoted separately. |
| Cooling-system repair | AED 1,575–7,350 | Common hose, thermostat, water-pump or radiator work. The failed component, access and coolant loss change the price. |
| Brake pads, per axle | AED 1,890–4,725 | Standard brake pads and fitting. Discs, calipers, sensors and ceramic brake systems are separate. |
| Brake pads and discs, per axle | AED 4,200–10,500 | Matched pads, discs, fitting and final checks. Rotor size and parts choice create the wide range. |
| Air-suspension repair | AED 3,675–12,600 | One air spring or strut at the lower end; compressor, valve-block or multi-corner work can cost more. |
| Timing-chain replacement | AED 4,000–7,000 | Estimated chain-related replacement work for applicable engines. Related wear or internal damage requires a separate quote. |
| PDK or transmission repair | AED 8,400–24,000+ | Control, mechatronic or internal gearbox work after testing. A fluid service alone is not presented as a transmission repair. |
| Engine rebuild | AED 21,000–42,000+ | Initial budget for major internal engine work. Engine type, machining, damaged components and strip-down findings set the total. |
Routine oil changes have a different buying purpose. See the separate Panamera oil-change service page for scheduled oil and filter work.
The quotation identifies parts, labour, testing, fluids and any separately priced work. No extra repair is added without approval.
What changes the total
A useful estimate must match the exact system, fitted parts and amount of access required. A model badge by itself is not enough to set a final repair price.
Generation and variant matter. A first-generation 970, second-generation 971 and current Panamera do not share every engine, chassis, electronic or hybrid component. Turbo, GTS, 4S and E-Hybrid variants can also use different brakes, suspension and cooling layouts.
The failed part may be only one piece of the repair. A coolant warning can come from a hose, pump, thermostat, radiator, reservoir or a leak elsewhere in the circuit. The estimate changes when several aged parts are disturbed or when overheating has caused secondary damage.
Parts choices must be comparable. The quote states whether the priced component is genuine, OEM-equivalent, quality aftermarket, rebuilt or used where an alternative is suitable and available. We do not compare a parts-only figure with a fitted and tested repair.
Access, calibration and final checks add real labour. Some Panamera repairs require trim removal, drivetrain support, fluid filling, coding, suspension calibration or a road test. These steps belong in the total when they apply.

Costs by repair system
The broad price range becomes useful once the problem area and practical repair choice are known.
- Engine and oil leaks
- Minor seal or breather work can stay within a few thousand dirhams. Timing, internal wear, overheating damage or a rebuild moves the budget much higher. We separate external leaks from internal engine repair before recommending parts.
- PDK and drivetrain
- Fluid service, mount replacement, electrical control faults, mechatronic work and internal gearbox repair are different jobs. The quotation explains which work is included rather than using one generic transmission price.
- Cooling system
- Pressure loss, overheating or coolant smell may involve a hose, reservoir, pump, thermostat or radiator. Testing the leak and operating temperature helps avoid replacing the most visible part while another fault remains.
- Air suspension and steering
- A low corner can come from an air spring, strut, line, valve block, compressor or height sensor. A complete multi-corner replacement is not automatically required when one component has failed.
- Brakes and chassis
- Pad prices differ from pad-and-disc work. Calipers, wear sensors, wheel bearings, control arms and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake components each require their own parts and labour calculation.
- Electrical and hybrid systems
- Low-voltage faults, sensors, wiring, modules and E-Hybrid high-voltage systems need different testing and safety procedures. Battery, charging and hybrid-component prices are kept separate from ordinary electrical repair.
How repair totals build
These examples show how parts, labour and the repair category shape a budget. They are not customer histories or fixed offers. The actual vehicle must be inspected before the final price is confirmed.
2014 Panamera S brakes
Work: Replace front steel brake discs, pads and wear sensor, then complete brake and road checks.
Included: Parts, fitting, consumables and 5% VAT.
May change: Rotor size, caliper condition and selected parts.
2018 Panamera 4S suspension
Work: Replace one failed front air strut after leak and height-control checks.
Included: Strut, fitting, system setup, ride-height check and 5% VAT.
Separate if needed: Compressor, valve block, opposite-side work or wheel alignment.
2020 Panamera GTS PDK repair
Work: Repair a confirmed control or mechatronic fault rather than pricing a complete gearbox automatically.
Included: Applicable repair parts, labour, fluid handling, setup, testing and 5% VAT.
May change: Internal wear, module condition and replacement-part availability.
We inspect the car before recommending the repair. The examples help you compare likely totals; your written quotation confirms the parts, included work and customer-payable price.
What the quote includes
A lower headline price is not necessarily the lower repair cost if essential parts, fluids, setup or VAT are added later.
Named parts
The quotation should identify the component and parts choice clearly enough to compare it. A rebuilt unit, genuine new part and used assembly do not carry the same cost, condition or availability.
Complete labour
Removal, installation and normal reassembly belong in a fitted price. Extra work caused by seized hardware, previous damage or additional confirmed faults is discussed before it is added.
Testing and tax
Required fluid filling, coding, calibration and final checks should be visible where they apply. Prices on this page already include 5% VAT, so VAT should not be added again.
A written estimate is based on the information available before dismantling. If access reveals additional damage, we explain the finding and revised total before continuing. This approval boundary is especially important for engine, PDK, cooling and accident-related repairs.

Model compatibility
We price Panamera repairs by the car in front of us, not by copying one figure across every generation.
First-generation 970 cars can need age-related work across cooling, suspension, seals, mounts, brakes and electronics. Earlier repair history matters because mixed parts and previous work can change access and the sensible repair choice.
Second-generation 971 cars use newer chassis, electronic and drivetrain systems. Variant-specific brakes, rear steering, adaptive suspension and PDK equipment can change parts and setup requirements.
E-Hybrid models combine a combustion engine with high-voltage components, cooling circuits and power electronics. A high-voltage warning or charging problem is not priced as an ordinary 12-volt electrical repair.
Turbo and GTS variants may use larger brakes, different cooling and performance hardware. Send the model year and variant to begin. The VIN is requested only when needed to confirm exact parts.
Repair, rebuild or replace?
The lowest initial price is useful only when the choice suits the component, vehicle condition and expected use.
- Repair the existing assembly when the failed part can be replaced separately and the remaining unit is serviceable. This can avoid an unnecessary complete assembly.
- Use a rebuilt component when a properly remanufactured unit offers a sensible balance of cost and serviceability. The quotation identifies the unit condition and included fitting.
- Fit a new component when reliability, application, availability or the condition of the original assembly makes repair unsuitable. Genuine and suitable alternative routes are discussed where available.
- Stop after inspection when repair cost is disproportionate to the vehicle condition or when more information is needed. You receive the findings and can decide before major work starts.
One choice is not automatically best for every Panamera. For example, a control fault may be repaired without replacing a complete PDK, while serious internal damage may make a complete or rebuilt unit more economical than repeated partial work. The written quote explains the recommended option and the practical alternative where one exists.
Call before driving further
Stop and call if the Panamera is overheating, losing coolant quickly, showing low oil pressure, producing heavy smoke, sitting very low on one corner, making harsh mechanical noises or losing braking ability. Continuing to drive can turn one failed component into a larger repair.
A warning light by itself does not prove which part has failed. Tell us the message, what the car is doing and whether fluids are leaking. We will explain whether the vehicle should be driven, collected or inspected before use.
How pricing works
- Describe the problem. Call or send the model year, variant, warning message and a short explanation of the symptoms. Photos or a video can help but are not required to start.
- Bring in the Panamera. Visit Warehouse 39 in Al Quoz 4 or arrange pickup and delivery. If the car may be unsafe, speak to the workshop before moving it.
- Inspect the relevant system. The initial fault inspection and computer diagnostic check are free. Dismantling, specialist testing or extended investigation is discussed when required.
- Review the choices. We explain the confirmed or likely cause, suitable repair options, parts choice, estimated time and the price for the described work.
- Approve the quotation. Repairs begin after approval. Additional work found during access is explained and priced before it continues.
- Complete final checks. The repaired system is checked, fluid levels or setup are completed where applicable and the vehicle is prepared for handover.
Minor electrical, sensor or brake work may be completed the same day when parts are available. Cooling and suspension repairs often need one or two working days. PDK, engine and specialist electronic work can take several working days because testing, parts sourcing and internal findings vary. The workshop confirms the likely turnaround with your quote rather than promising a universal completion time.

Panamera repair cost FAQs
How much does Porsche Panamera repair cost in Dubai?
Common Panamera repair estimates range from about AED 735 for minor electrical or sensor work to AED 42,000 or more for an engine rebuild. Brake, cooling, suspension and transmission prices sit between those points. The figures on this page include 5% VAT; the exact model, fault, parts and labour determine the written quote.
Why can two Panamera repair quotes be very different?
The quotes may cover different parts, component conditions and labour. One may be parts-only while another includes fitting, fluid, coding, calibration, testing and VAT. Panamera generation, engine, drivetrain, brake size, suspension type and previous damage also change the total. Compare the itemised work rather than the headline price alone.
Do the displayed repair prices include VAT?
Yes. Every price and range on this page includes 5% VAT. The final quotation identifies the customer-payable total for the work described. Do not add VAT again to these displayed figures.
Is Panamera computer diagnosis free?
The initial computer diagnostic or fault inspection is free. If the fault requires dismantling, pressure testing, circuit tracing, high-voltage procedures or extended specialist investigation, that work is explained and priced before it begins.
Can you repair 970, 971 and E-Hybrid Panameras?
Yes, the workshop handles repair enquiries for first-generation 970, second-generation 971 and current Panamera variants, including E-Hybrid models. The available work and estimate depend on the exact system, vehicle configuration, parts and required safety procedures.
Do you offer genuine, OEM or alternative parts?
The quotation identifies the suitable parts choice for the repair. Genuine, OEM-equivalent, quality aftermarket, rebuilt or used options may be discussed when they are appropriate and available. Not every component has every option, and compatibility is checked before ordering.
How long does Panamera repair take?
Minor electrical, sensor or brake work may be completed the same day when parts are available. Cooling and suspension work often takes one or two working days. PDK, engine and specialist electronic repairs can take several working days. The confirmed fault, parts supply and additional findings decide the timing.
Can you collect and return my Panamera?
Yes. Free pickup and delivery can be arranged, subject to location and scheduling. Tell the team if the vehicle has an overheating warning, serious leak, brake concern, low suspension corner or another condition that may make driving unsafe.
What information is needed for an estimate?
Start with the Panamera model year, variant and a short description of the problem or requested repair. A dashboard photo, leak photo or short video can help. The VIN is requested later only when it is needed to identify the exact fitted part.
