S Hybrid and S E-Hybrid
The early non-plug-in S Hybrid uses nickel-metal hydride technology. The later S E-Hybrid uses a lithium-ion plug-in pack. They are not interchangeable.
4 E-Hybrid and Turbo variants
Pack revisions and equipment differ across the generation. Executive and Sport Turismo versions still need an exact specification check; a matching model name alone is insufficient.
Third-generation E-Hybrid
The newer 25.9 kWh gross-capacity system differs from earlier packs. Check any manufacturer coverage or open campaign by VIN before approving paid battery work.

Can the battery be repaired instead of replaced?

Can I keep driving on the engine alone?
Do not assume that a hybrid with a battery fault can safely operate on its engine alone. The systems work together, and some faults prevent READY or limit power. Follow the displayed instruction. For a stop message, abnormal heat, or an immobilized car, arrange assessment and suitable recovery.
Will a BMS reset restore the battery?
