Three Macan tyre replacement estimates

These are VAT-inclusive planning estimates for three common wheel categories. They are sample quotations, not customer job records or fixed offers. The sidewall code, axle position, stock and tyre choice determine the exact total.

Estimate 1

18 or 19-inch Macan tyre

AED 750–1,250 each

For an approved-size road tyre with the required load and speed rating.

Includes: One tyre, removal, fitting, standard valve service where applicable, wheel balancing and 5% VAT.

Price variables: Exact size, brand, pattern, N-marking, stock and front or rear axle.

Allow: About 60–90 minutes for one or two tyres when the correct stock is ready.

Estimate 2

20-inch performance tyre

AED 1,050–1,750 each

For a larger Macan road tyre where width and axle-specific fitment affect the price.

Includes: One tyre, careful wheel removal, fitment, balancing, tyre-pressure setting and 5% VAT.

Price variables: Front or rear size, load index, speed rating, manufacturer and Porsche approval.

Allow: Part of a working day for a pair or full set, subject to stock.

Estimate 3

21-inch premium or N-marked tyre

AED 1,400–2,400 each

For a premium fitment or Porsche-tested N-marked option in the vehicle’s approved specification.

Includes: One tyre, fitting, balancing, pressure setup and 5% VAT.

Separate if needed: TPMS sensor replacement, wheel alignment, rim repair, locking-key replacement or recovery.

Allow: Same day when stocked; special patterns may require ordering.

How the quotation is built

What changes the final tyre cost?

“Macan tyre” is not one specification. A useful quote has to match the tyre code and axle, not just the model name.

Tyre size
The width, aspect ratio and rim diameter printed on the sidewall determine the base fitment. Larger and wider tyres generally cost more.
Front or rear axle
Many Macan wheel packages use different front and rear widths. The two axle prices may therefore be different even when the rim diameter matches.
Load and speed rating
The replacement must meet the vehicle’s required capability. A cheaper tyre with the wrong rating is not an acceptable substitute.
N-marked specification
An N-mark identifies a tyre version tested and approved for Porsche applications. Availability and price vary by exact pattern and generation.
Brand and pattern
Premium touring, performance and efficiency-focused tyres have different compounds, noise characteristics and prices. We can quote available UAE brands side by side.
Additional work
Alignment, a damaged TPMS sensor, a bent rim, seized hardware or a missing locking-wheel key are quoted separately if required.

As a planning guide, four tyres using the ranges above can total about AED 3,000 to AED 9,600 including 5% VAT. That wide range is intentional because a standard 18-inch set and a staggered 21-inch N-marked set are not comparable purchases. Send a clear photo of each front and rear sidewall code for a useful written quote.

Read the tyre before ordering

Size, axle and matching matter

The safest starting point is the approved specification for your exact car, confirmed against the door placard, current tyres and VIN where needed.

A code such as 265/40 R21 describes width, profile and rim diameter, but it does not tell the whole story. The load index, speed symbol, reinforced or extra-load construction, homologation mark and production date also matter. Do not order from diameter alone.

Macans can use a staggered layout, with a wider rear tyre than the front. That means a “set of four” may contain two distinct sizes. Fitting the front size to the rear, mixing unsuitable patterns across an axle or choosing an insufficient load rating can affect stability, braking and the all-wheel-drive system.

If one tyre is damaged, we compare its tread depth and specification with the opposite tyre. An axle pair may be the sounder choice when the surviving tyre is significantly worn or cannot be matched. A full set is considered when age, cracking, tread condition or specification affects all four tyres.

What does an N-marked tyre mean?

An N-marked tyre is a version that has been developed or tested for Porsche use. The marking is tied to a particular tyre specification, not simply to the brand.

Vehicle-specific approval

Porsche assesses approved tyres for the performance, stability and operating characteristics expected from its vehicles. The correct N code and tyre specification can vary with model and generation.

Not every matching size is equal

Two tyres can share the same dimensions but use different construction, load capacity or compound. We compare the full sidewall code and available Porsche-approved options.

Choice still matters

An N-marked tyre may be preferred for the original Porsche setup. Where alternatives are considered, the required size, load and speed ratings remain non-negotiable and the tradeoffs should be clear.

We can source major tyre brands available in the UAE and explain which options match the car and budget. For broader workshop information, see our Porsche tyre replacement service.

Do not assume every puncture needs a tyre

When repair may be possible

A small puncture in a repairable tread area may be suitable for a professional internal repair, but only after the tyre is removed and inspected.

Potentially repairable

A simple tread-area puncture may qualify if its location and size are within the tyre maker’s repair limits and the tyre has not been driven while flat.

Replacement is normally required

Sidewall or shoulder damage, exposed cords, a bulge, deep cracking, a split, severe tread damage or evidence of internal run-flat damage generally rules out repair.

Inspection protects the decision

An outside plug alone cannot show the inner liner or hidden damage. We inspect the casing, puncture path, bead and remaining condition before recommending repair or replacement.

If the tyre is losing pressure quickly, has a visible bulge or was struck hard enough to damage the wheel, stop using it when safe. Continued driving can turn a limited puncture into a tyre and rim replacement.

Condition decides the timing

Replace by evidence, not an arbitrary mileage

Dubai heat, storage, pressure, alignment, driving style and tyre construction all influence service life. There is no honest universal kilometre figure for every Macan tyre.

  • Tread wear: Check the full width, not only the outside shoulder. Inner-edge wear can be missed while the car is on the ground.
  • Cracking and age: Hardened or cracked rubber can lose performance even where tread remains. The DOT production code helps establish age.
  • Bulges and cuts: A sidewall bulge can indicate damaged cords and needs urgent attention.
  • Pressure loss: Repeated pressure warnings may come from a puncture, valve, bead seal, rim or sensor issue.
  • Vibration or pulling: Imbalance, tyre deformation, wheel damage or alignment can create similar symptoms and should be separated before parts are ordered.

Old, cracked, damaged or below-limit tyres should be dealt with before an RTA inspection. A non-compliant tyre can cause the vehicle to fail. Replacement should also restore consistent grip and braking, not just satisfy an inspection.

The tyre price is only useful with the fitting scope

What proper replacement includes

Fitment check
Confirm size, axle position, rotation or outside marking, load and speed rating before mounting.
Wheel protection
Use suitable equipment and care around painted, polished or large-diameter Porsche wheels.
Valve and TPMS
Service the standard valve where applicable, inspect the sensor area and quote a failed sensor separately.
Dynamic balancing
Balance each fitted wheel and investigate if a wheel needs unusual weight or shows signs of distortion.
Pressure setup
Set cold pressures for the vehicle and wheel package, then reset or verify the monitoring system as applicable.
Final check
Torque wheel fasteners correctly, check clearance and return the old tyres as requested or arrange disposal.

Wheel alignment is not automatically bundled into every tyre price. It is worth checking when the old tyres show one-sided wear, the steering is off-centre, the car pulls, or suspension and wheel damage is suspected. Alignment cannot correct a bent rim, worn joint or damaged tyre, so those issues are separated first.

Fitment by vehicle, not guesswork

Macan model and generation compatibility

We quote tyres for petrol Macan models and the newer Macan Electric range, subject to the exact vehicle specification and available stock.

Macan 95B generations

Base, S, GTS and Turbo versions can use different wheel packages across model years. Factory options and previous wheel changes mean the badge alone is not enough to order tyres.

Newer petrol variants

We confirm the fitted wheel package and axle-specific size, then match the required load and speed ratings. The VIN is useful when the current fitment is uncertain.

Macan Electric

Vehicle weight, torque, efficiency and approved load capability make exact specification particularly important. We check the fitted size and compatible construction before quoting.

Modified wheels, non-standard suspension or spacers need to be disclosed. A tyre that physically mounts on a rim may still be unsuitable for clearance, load or vehicle behaviour. For general Macan fitting and booking information, visit the Macan tyre service page.

From quote to handover

A clear replacement process

  1. Share details: Send the model year, quantity required and clear front and rear sidewall photos.
  2. Confirm choices: We check the specification, available brands, N-marked options, stock and VAT-inclusive total.
  3. Approve the quote: Tyres and any separate alignment, TPMS or rim work are itemised before the appointment.
  4. Fit and balance: The car is lifted correctly, tyres are installed in the right axle positions and wheels are balanced.
  5. Final checks: Pressures, wheel torque and the monitoring system are checked before handover.

One or two stocked tyres can often be completed in about 60–90 minutes. A full staggered set may take part of a working day. Ordering, alignment corrections, rim damage or a seized fastener can extend the visit; we confirm this before work continues.

Answers before you order

Macan tyre cost and fitting questions

How much does a Porsche Macan tyre replacement cost in Dubai?

Prices start from AED 750 per tyre including 5% VAT, fitting and balancing. Plan about AED 750–1,250 for many 18 or 19-inch tyres, AED 1,050–1,750 for many 20-inch tyres and AED 1,400–2,400 for many 21-inch premium or N-marked tyres. Exact size, axle, brand, rating and stock determine the quote.

How much is a full set of four Macan tyres?

A realistic planning range is about AED 3,000–9,600 including 5% VAT and the stated fitting work. The range is wide because Macan wheel packages span different diameters, widths and Porsche-approved specifications. Send front and rear sidewall photos for an exact set price.

Is wheel alignment included in the tyre price?

No. Standard fitting and balancing are included in the stated guide prices, while alignment is quoted separately if needed. Uneven old-tyre wear, pulling, an off-centre steering wheel or recent suspension and wheel impact are reasons to check alignment.

Do I need N-marked tyres on a Porsche Macan?

N-marked tyres are versions tested and approved for Porsche applications. They are often the preferred way to retain the intended vehicle setup. The suitable N code and pattern depend on the exact Macan, wheel package and tyre specification, so we verify them rather than treating every N-marked tyre as interchangeable.

Can I replace only one Macan tyre?

Sometimes. The new tyre must match the required size and specification, and the opposite tyre’s pattern and remaining tread must be considered. Where the surviving tyre is substantially worn or an equivalent match is unavailable, replacing the axle pair may give a more consistent result.

Can a punctured Macan tyre be repaired?

A small puncture in a permitted central tread area may be repairable after the tyre is removed and inspected. Sidewall or shoulder damage, bulges, exposed cords, cracking, an unsuitable puncture or damage from driving flat normally means replacement.

How long does Macan tyre replacement take?

Allow roughly 60–90 minutes for one or two tyres when the exact specification is in stock. A full staggered set may take part of a working day. Special-order tyres, alignment, TPMS faults, rim damage or difficult hardware can extend the visit.

What details are needed for a tyre quote?

Send the Macan model year, number of tyres required and clear photos showing the complete front and rear sidewall codes. Mention any pressure warning, puncture, vibration, impact or unusual wear. The VIN helps when the current wheel package is uncertain.

Do you have every tyre brand in stock?

We can source tyre brands available in the UAE, but not every size and pattern is stored on site at all times. We check live availability before confirming the booking. Special N-marked or uncommon staggered fitments may need to be ordered.
