Included and separate work

What changes the price?

Choose the right wheel finish
Silver, black and graphite look different in gloss, satin and matte. We compare the remaining wheels and agree both the shade and the amount of shine before painting.

- A local blend may suit an isolated paint mark. A full wheel-face refinish can give a more consistent result when several spokes are scratched or the existing paint is peeling.
- Change the colour
- Bring a clear reference for black, graphite, silver or another requested colour. A four-wheel quote makes the intended finish and preparation consistent across the set.
- Diamond-cut or two-tone
- A machined bright face is different from painted metallic silver. We identify the wheel and confirm the permitted method before offering work. A painted alternative changes the appearance and needs your agreement.
Ask about powder coating before booking. The coating process and curing requirements must suit the exact wheel; it is not an automatic substitute for refinishing the original paint.
Can this wheel be refinished?
Our cosmetic service is for suitable surface damage. The workshop check confirms the depth of the mark and whether refinishing is appropriate.
- Superficial paint scuffs: scratches, chips and faded paint may be suitable for local repair or a full refinish.
- Cracks, bends or damaged alloy: we assess original Porsche wheels for replacement rather than treating welding or straightening as cosmetic refurbishment.
- Vibration or air loss: the tyre, valve, bead seat and wheel need checking. Repainting will not correct a mechanical problem.

How long should I allow?

Care after refinishing
Follow the collection-day advice on the coating’s curing period. Clean cool wheels with a suitable mild wheel cleaner and soft tools. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive polishing on a satin or matte finish; check the care instructions before using a new product.

Can you match my original wheel colour?
We compare colour, sheen and the condition of the other wheels. A full painted-face refinish can be more consistent than blending several damaged areas. Age and previous repainting can affect the match, so we agree the expected result before work starts.
Do you repair cracked or bent Porsche rims?
Our cosmetic refinishing service does not include structural wheel repair. Original Porsche wheels with cracks, bends or damaged base material are assessed for replacement. A wheel that loses air also needs the tyre and valve checked before its cause is assumed.
Can you restore a diamond-cut wheel?
We first confirm the exact wheel, damage and previous refinishing. A genuine machined face is different from silver paint. We do not promise re-cutting every Porsche wheel; the permitted method and remaining condition must be established. If the original appearance cannot be restored appropriately, we explain the alternatives.
Is tyre removal and balancing included in the price?
The displayed ranges cover the described cosmetic refinishing. Tyre removal, refitting, balancing, TPMS or valve parts and alignment are separate unless your quotation includes them. We confirm the complete total including 5% VAT before you approve the work.
Can you work on centre-lock or aftermarket wheels?
Tell us before booking. Centre-lock removal and refitting require the correct vehicle-specific procedure. Aftermarket wheels need their manufacturer, design and markings checked. Special materials or unfamiliar finishes need suitability confirmed before any work is agreed.
What if my wheel needs replacing?
We check the required part number, diameter, width, offset, front or rear position and finish. A visually similar wheel may have a different specification. The quote identifies the replacement choice, availability and fitting costs before ordering.
Will painting stop vibration or a slow puncture?
No. Refinishing changes the surface finish. Vibration or pressure loss can involve the tyre, wheel, valve or other components and needs its own assessment. Tell us about these symptoms when you send photos so the visit covers the actual problem.
Can you quote from photos?
Photos are useful for an initial estimate. Send the whole wheel and close-ups in good light, plus the model, year and wheel size. The workshop inspection confirms damage depth, the appropriate finish, any fitting work and the final price.
